Government recordkeeping

This section of our site contains information about the services we provide to the State and local government organisations whose records and recordkeeping activities are covered by the provisions of the Archives Act 1983 and are defined in section 3 of the Act.

Our services are focused on providing advice and assistance to help organisations manage their records effectively within the legislative framework established by the Archives Act and formal instruments issued under this Act. The services include:

staff training
records alerts
consultancy services
policy and procedural advice
